The purpose of the Foundation is to secure funding for the restoration and maintenance of Mountain View, Roanoke's historic Fishburn Mansion through sponsored fundraising activities; to promote awareness and advocacy of Mountain View; to provide visionary leadership in the overall coordination of restoration and preservation of Mountain V

Friends of Mountain View, Inc. was formed to receive gifts, grants, and contributions for the purpose of restoring and maintaining Mountain View in partnership with the City of Roanoke and Roanoke's Parks and Recreation Department .
